SLO Assessment Process

The MULTICULTURAL RETENTION department follows the CCSF assessment process as documented on the Outcomes Assessment Reporting website.

Program Outcomes

Our programs are on a regular cycle of review, during which outcomes are updated and revised. Program Outcomes are mapped to ILOs as shown below:

After the initial counseling session, the student will be able to identify the graduation requirements for a CCSF Associate's degree. (ILO 1.2 Critical Thinking and Information Competency: Locate, evaluate, synthesize, and appropriately use multiple forms of information; ILO 4. 1 Personal and Career Development: Assess one's own achievements and cultivate resources for educational and/or career growth).

Program SLO will be assessed in Spring 2018.

Program outcomes that have completed a "full-loop" cycle and improvements have been implemented.

After the initial counseling session, the student will be able to recognize the purpose of the educational plan. (ILO I.2 Critical Thinking and Information Competency: Locate, evaluate, synthesize, and appropriately use multiple forms of information; ILO IV. 2 Personal and Career Development: Demonstrate self-reflection and confidence).

Students who have been active in our program for at least a semester will be aware of services available to them in the Retention Programs and will be able to access them to support meeting their educational goals.  (ILO I.2 Critical Thinking and Information Competency: Locate, evaluate, synthesize, and appropriately use multiple forms of information; ILO IV. 2 Personal and Career Development: Demonstrate self-reflection and confidence).
