Fall 2012 Highlights:
- August and September FLEX meetings: developed and refined outcomes and assessment process.
- Survey data shows us that students as a whole are very confused about what is necessary to get to their degree.
- Based on the data we've already gathered, we refined the intake process for work study -- screening and how students are placed. There was confusion around supervisor expectations. So we've worked on improving communication between supervisors and students, including ensuring supervisors understand their roles. We are looking to supervisors to train our students and give them real work experiences (most of our students don't have it yet -- and expectations on both sides were not as clear as they could have been).
- We are using the survey data to review more thoroughouly our management practices and performance.
