SLO Assessment Process

Matriculation Services follows the CCSF assessment process as documented on the Outcomes Assessment Reporting website.

The Office of Matriculation and Assessment Services strives to ensure that students achieve their educational objectives by collaboratively providing student-directed components of matriculation such as placement assessment, advising/counseling and prerequisites.

Program Outcomes

Our programs are on a regular cycle of review, during which outcomes are updated and revised. Program Outcomes are mapped to ILOs as shown below:

1.      As a result of completing the new student orientation, students will understand the next steps toward registering for courses that meet their educational goals, programs and services available and their rights and responsibilities as students. (ILO 4a. Personal and Career Development: Identify and develop helpful resources and opportunities.) 

2.      Students will understand the importance of Math and English or ESL course placement assessment.  (ILO 4a. Personal and Career Development: Identify and develop helpful resources and opportunities.)
