Work one-on-one with CCSF’s Financial Aid experts.

Join the helpful, friendly staff from our Financial Aid Office who will work with you personally to help you complete your FAFSA or Dream Act applications if you haven't applied, or help you complete any financial aid requirements if you have already applied.

  • What to Bring to Your Appointment

    Documents You Will Need to Fill Out FAFSA:

    1.  Your/Parents 2018 Tax Return if applying for the 2020-2021 academic year

    and/or 2017 Tax Return if applying for the 2019-2020 academic year

    2. Your social security number 

    3. Bring parent's 2017 or 2018 Tax Return, Social Security numbers and dates of birth unless:

    • You will reach the age of 24 on or before December 31st of the application year (e.g. For 2019-20, you will reach the age of 24 on or before December 31, 2019)

    • You are married

    • You have a child who receives more than half of his/her support from you

    • You are a veteran of the U.S. armed forces

    4. The total amount of untaxed income received during 2017 or 2018.
    *If you, your spouse or your parents (if applicable) received any untaxed income during 2017or 2018, such as public assistance, social security benefits, or child support, you may need to report it on the financial aid application.

    *For filing CADAA: Ensure you meet “Non-Resident Exemption” requirements under AB 540, or are a U-Visa holder. 
    *T-Visa holders should file FAFSA, whereas U-Visa holders should file CADAA.

     

    Lab Policy

    We encourage parents, stepparents, and/or adoptive parents of dependent students to accompany the student. Parents’ information is required in the application. At least one parent has to sign the FAFSA and CADAA.

    *Please bring all of the required documentation to your appointment. 

    *No food or drink is allowed in the lab.
