FRISCO Day (Friday = Successful College Opportunities)
FRISCO Day is the first day of priority registration at City College for SFUSD Seniors. City College hosts close to 1,000 graduating seniors to showcase academic programs, student support programs and student clubs, and assist incoming students with the registration process. Senior Field Trips
City College hosts SFUSD high schools throughout February and March, so that students can explore the campus & key programs. Students complete their orientation and get ready for their priority registration date.

Juniors from several SFUSD high schools are invited to explore city college in early February. Students have a chance to explore classes & meet with professors in several departments throughout the college.

Summer Bridge to Success
Summer Bridge offers incoming students additional support in English or math, as well as college success. Students have a chance to get a jump start on their college career by building their confidence and knowledge in key academic areas.

Movin’ On Up (Middle School Trips)
6th - 8th grade students from several SFUSD middle schools are invited to explore City College throughout the fall semester. We offer a scavenger hunt around campus and provide a “College Knowledge” lesson.

Welcome Week (Check out pictures here!)
41 students attended Freshmen Connection 2018. This program connects incoming students to key resources, including financial aid, the career center, equity office, and admissions & records. The full-day program offers individual support to students so that they are better able to navigate their first week on campus.
200+ students attended Welcome Day 2018. The day features a resource fair with over 30 programs and departments participating. Students are able to explore their academic and social interests before the first day of class.
Several welcome lunches are hosted by the Outreach Office the first two weeks of fall semester, including the Filipino/Pacific Islander Lunch, Latinx Lunch, African American Lunch, and Lunch for Students Experiencing Homelessness or Housing Insecurity. Students are able to connect with key resources, programs, and staff/faculty to support their educational journey at City College.
