Welcome to the Evans Center City College of San Francisco. We are located at 1400 Evans Avenue in the heart of the beautiful Bayview Hunters Point. The Evans Center is unique as we are one block away from the T train line and bus lines 19 and 44 stops are directly in front of the Evans Center. We also offer free parking to all administrators, faculty, staff and students. The original mission of the Evans Center was and continues to provide quality programs in the Career Technical Educational Programs. Our astonishing Career Technical Educational Programs offered at the Evans Center are Automotive, Construction, Custodial and Fashion. The Evans Center also houses the City Build Program, a construction program that is in conjunction with the City and County Mayor’s office (Office of Economics and Workforce Development). We are committed to developing new Career Technical Educational Programs, improving our existing Career Technical Educational Programs and strengthening our relationships with our community partners.

The Evans Center provides facilities for classes in the southeast quadrant of San Francisco. It schedules credit and noncredit courses in automotive, motorcycle technology, construction, welding, and fashion. The City Build Academy, a partnership with the City of San Francisco and the local unions, provides workforce training and job placement services to San Francisco residents interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry. All of the Evans Center classes are offered throughout the day, evening, and on weekends for your convenience.

The Center also houses statewide initiative supporting workforce development. These include the Office of Economics and Workforce Development, the Design Studio, the Advanced Transportation Technology Office, the Geographic Information Systems Education Center, and the California Resources Center for Occupational Program Design and Evaluation.
