Login to Office365 using your CCSF email address and password.  If you are not sure of your email password, you can call the Help Desk and have it reset.

Windows: In the top right hand corner is a picture of a gear between the picture icon and the question mark.  Click the gear and then click Office 365 Settings.  In the left hand column there is a link called Software.  Click that and you will see a list of the components for Office and a button marked Install.  (To install Office on a sixth computer, you must first deactivate an installation on one of your current computers.)

How to get the mobile apps:

Login to your app store (Apple, Android) and download the MS Office apps you want such as Word, Excel, etc.  Your Office365 email and password are the keys to unlocking the full capabilities of the apps.

Even though you don’t need to be connected to the Internet all the time to use Office 365 Pro Plus, you must connect to the Internet at least once every 30 days. This is so that the status of your Office 365 subscriptions can be checked. If you don’t connect within 30 days, Office 365 Pro Plus goes into a reduced functionality mode. After you connect to the Internet and your subscription status is verified and all the features of Office 365 Pro Plus become available again.

You can find help at

If your computer doesn’t meet the system requirements for the latest version of Office you can install the previous version of Office, Professional Plus 2010.

The fine print:

As this is for personal use, ITS and the Help Desk are not able to provide direct support.  Microsoft help is available (see link above) and you will find that it is very easy to download and install the software.   Help with downloading or installing on your mobile device or laptop will be available at the Technology Learning Center, Batmale Hall, room 313, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
