SLO Assessment

SLO Assessment Process

The PHOTOGRAPHY department follows the CCSF assessment process as documented on the Outcomes Assessment Reporting website.

Additional Department SLO Assessment Process
The Photography Department Faculty has agreed on a system to continually assess and improve our teaching outcomes. Through the process of engage-revise-assess, our department has developed a flexible form that allows each Instructor to use various class projects and exercises to assess their Student Learning Outcomes. The data is reviewed and discussed each start-of-semester flex day, as it relates to curriculum development and program review. The data and projects are shared amongst faculty who also may compare and contrast teaching rubrics, paradigms and methodologies.

Program Outcomes

Our programs are on a regular cycle of review, during which outcomes are updated and revised. Course SLOs are mapped to Program SLOs. Program SLOs are mapped to ILOs. Mappings and program information are recorded in reports in CurricUNET. Programs are also fully described in the catalog.
