Concerts & Events

 

The City College Music Department as well as the Concert & Lecture Series Department present a wide range of events throughout the school year, including class recitals to full-scale Gala events.

  • The CCSF Theater Arts Department continues its grand tradition of musicals here at the College, with a new production each Fall and Spring semesters.
  • In addition, the CCSF World Music Club presents spectacular showcase concerts each semester, introducing audiences to the music and dance of diverse world cultures.

The Labor Heritage/Rockin' Solidarity Chorus

The CCSF Labor Heritage Chorus will present its performance piece about the History of May Day, the HayMarket Massacre and the 8 Hour Day Movement.

Tuesday, December 9th, 8 P.M. at the Diego Rivera Theatre on Ocean Campus.  The CCSF Advanced Jazz Band & Jazz/Rock Improvisation Ensembles, directed by David Hardiman Jr., will perform with special guest artist, nationally acclaimed jazz drummer, Carl Allen.
