Jerry Anne Di Vecchio photo

Jerry Anne Di Vecchio is San Francisco based food-wine authority and writer. She is co-author with Francoise Kirkman of a children's cookbook, Kitchen Pen Pals (Weldon Owen), which will be released in spring 2012.

Di Vecchio was Food and Wine Editor for Sunset magazine for over four decades She has written and edited dozens of Sunset cookbooks, and taught cooking classes for all ages Since retirement Di Vecchio has continued to write and edit for clients such as Sunset, Eating Well, and San Francisco magazines; Navillus Birney Winery; Foster Farms; Weber Grills; and Safeway. She recently edited a series of single topic cookbooks for Golden Gate Restaurant Association and Visa Signature.

Di Vecchio is co-founding president of the San Francisco chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier, an international organization of prestigious women in the food, wine and hospitality industries. She was part of the team that created Cooking with Les Dames d'Escoffier cookbook released in 2008, writing the forward with Alice Waters.
