AR403

A Watercolor Painting a Day

Instructor Alison Frost

This workshop is ideal for beginners or those with watercolor experience who are looking to shake up their practice. Each workshop period, a watercolor painting will be completed; each painting will allow the artist to experience the delicate balance between their own vision and letting the medium take the lead, using techniques designed to loosen up artists. We will touch on different painting methods, with an emphasis on abstraction, particularly in the early stages of a painting. After taking this workshop, students will find themselves more equipped to create their own artworks outside of a workshop setting, particularly if they've had trouble getting started in the past.
