Instructor Joyce Nojima

Tactile drawing is a continuing basic drawing workshop emphasizing texture and surface. Students will work with, but not limited to, charcoal, graphite and ink. Instructor will demonstrate many uses of these materials and assignments will bring attention to formal elements: value, space, line, form and composition. The workshop promotes appreciation of the drawing process and most importantly provides a broad foundation for further drawing explorations. No previous drawing experience required!
