Other Programs

The College for Teens Summer Program offers high school credit classes. Upon successful completion of these classes, students earn San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) credits. Students and parents are advised to consult with their school counselors before registering for classes. SFUSD High School Students attending College for Teens for credit must also submit Permission to Apply Form with their counselor’s consent. Middle School Students or High School Students taking classes for no credit do not need to obtain any approvals.

The CCSF Contract Education Title IV-E Program offers a variety of free trainings to foster parents, group home staff, and foster family agency staff. The Office of Contract Education works with agencies to set up classes for their staff at convenient times; most classes can be offered at an agency’s site (8 student minimum) on weekdays, evenings, or Saturdays. Our faculty is happy to develop classes on topics not on the list. Please contact Project Director Lynne Towle at 415-267-6570 or Email ltowle@ccsf.edu or fcs-training@ccsf.edu to schedule trainings.
