ADVISE: Completion of ESLN 3100
(Beginning Low 1)
Designed to meet the needs of ESL students at various levels. Development of speaking, listening, reading, writing and basic computer skills through the use of computer-assisted language learning software, writing on the computer, Internet and other software programs.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Develop skills and strategies for improving English language skills based upon assessed needs.
- Outcome 2: Identify individual language goals for independent study.
- Outcome 3: Use appropriate computer technology to access commercial software, teacher-authored software, information from the internet, and/or CD-ROM disc.
