ESLC 3032 ESL/Citizenship for Multi-Level 1-4
ADVISE: Literate in native language
ESL learners prepare for the U.S. Citizenship test given by the Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services. Beginning English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills applied to answering test questions on personal information, U.S. history, government and the Constitution.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Relate basic personal information as found in the Petition for Naturalization.
- Outcome 2: Identify major facts in U.S. history.
- Outcome 3: Recall the structure and functions of the United State Federal Government, the State Government, and local governments.
- Outcome 4: Memorize basic facts and values reflected in the Constitution of the United States.
