ESLC 3032 ESL/Citizenship for Multi-Level 1-4
Preparation for the U.S. Citizenship test given by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). Beginning speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for Beginning English 1-4 level students to prepare for citizenship test questions on U.S. history, U.S. government, and the Constitution.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Relate basic personal information as found in the Petition for Naturalization.
- Outcome 2: Identify major facts in U.S. history.
- Outcome 3: Recall the structure and functions of the United States federal, state, and local governments.
- Outcome 4: Memorize basic facts and values reflected in the Constitution of the United States.
