ESLC 3031 Beginning Low Citizenship
Preparation for the U.S. Citizenship test for low beginning English students. Speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills are taught to prepare for the test questions on U.S. history, government, and the Constitution given by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).
Offered Spring semesters
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Memorize major United States historical facts.
- Outcome 2: Identify the organization and processes of the United States federal, state, and local governments including major parts of the U.S. Constitution.
- Outcome 3: Recall basic rights and responsibilities of new citizens.
