ESL 66 Advanced Listening and Reading (3)

PREREQ.: ESL 130 or ESL 182 or placement in ESL 140 or ESL 184
Intensive work on academic skills and strategies in the areas of listening in mainstream classroom lectures, reading of a variety of text types in different academic content areas, and note-taking and test-taking.
This course is designed for students who already have time-management and native-language academic skills. Intended to be taken concurrently with ESL 140, 150, 160, 186, or 188 for students who need additional work in academic listening and reading.
