Offered every third semester
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Demonstrate familiarity with the major genres, themes, and textual concerns of the period.
- Outcome 2: Analyze individual texts in relation to the significant historical, cultural, and/or social issues of the era.
- Outcome 3: Analyze the content and formal structures of representative literary texts of the period.
- Outcome 4: Integrate textual evidence and literary criticism when writing essays on key works of the era.
