ENGL 30B is a course surveying American literature from the Civil War to the present. It is designed to introduce students to significant stories, novels, poetry and drama.

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

- Outcome 4: Integrate textual evidence and literary criticism when writing essays on key works of the era.
