DSPS M Diagnostic Learning (2)

COREQ.: Enrollment in at least one other CCSF credit course
An individualized course designed for students who have learning disabilities. Learning strengths are reinforced and compensatory strategies are taught to overcome weaknesses. Similar in content to DSPS O
except that DSPS M is for those who require more intensive assistance.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Identify, demonstrate or explain verbally and in writing at least two learning strategies that the student has used in his/her coursework
- Outcome 2: Formulate self-intervention strategies to cope with individual learning challenges within coursework at City College of San Francisco
- Outcome 3: Apply newly-learned strategies to assignments from City College of San Francisco credit classes
- Outcome 4: Demonstrate newly-learned time management skills by attending scheduled laboratory hours consistently and on time.
