DSPS 4035 Accessible Computer Laboratory
A laboratory course designed for students with disabilities. Individualized instruction in and ongoing use of adaptive computer software and equipment for academic, vocational or personal use. Also computer-assisted instruction in Internet, email, business software, basic skills and cognitive development.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Independently select and use adaptive hardware, adaptive software applications, and/or adaptive furniture appropriate to the student's disability-related functional limitations.
- Outcome 2: Use online or disk-based tutorials or computer programs to develop or reinforce basic skills, keyboarding, computer skills or cognitive skills.
