Intensive Ballet offers further practice and refinement of technique and vocabulary learned in Intermediate Ballet with an emphasis on analysis of anatomical function, movement qualities related to musicality, and longer center combinations integrating direction changes.

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Analyze anatomical function as it relates to intermediate ballet vocabulary.
- Outcome 2: Perform intensive-level ballet combinations integrating direction changes and qualities of movement related to musicality.
- Outcome 3: Demonstrate muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, and agility by performing longer technical phrases of movement in combinations.
- Outcome 4: Discuss the influence of twentieth-century ballet masters and dancers on current ballet training.
