Repeat: CNIT 197 and 198 combined, max. credit: 9 units
Supervised on- or off-campus work involving computer use. Internships are joint ventures between institutions or companies and the Computer Networking and Information Technology Department. Students must be employed in any area including, but not limited to, help desk, hardware technician, networking technician, system administration, internet, web development, or computer operation.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Employ professional work habits and behavior in an industry environment, including best practices in business communication.
- Outcome 2: Work successfully in a team-orientated enviromnent.
- Outcome 3: Evaluate on-site experiences, and based on that assessment, create a plan for further career development.
