Explore non-narrative filmmaking techniques stressing personal expression through individual production of short films in a historical context. Projects include utilization of a range of different experimental techniques and will reference films screened and discussed in a class.

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Analyze historical experimental film movements.
- Outcome 2: Develop a personal, visual, cinematic aesthetic.
- Outcome 3: Create short, non-narrative films using experimental techniques.
