CINE 1000 Supplemental Instruction for Cinema
A course to assist students in achieving cinema learning outcomes, reinforce classroom learning and improve practical skills in screenwriting, budgeting, scheduling, film production, sound recording and mixing, post production, special effects, animation and exhibition. Students work on individual and team assignments with faculty instruction and consultation.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Develop and implement a plan for approaching and completing complex individual and team projects.
- Outcome 2: Illustrate skills in areas such as: screenwriting, budgeting, scheduling, audio recording and editing and mixing, cinematography, directing, editing, special effects or documentary.
- Outcome 3: Apply discipline-specific technologies and practical skills in selecting and deploying appropriate software, hardware, media assets, equipment, systems and tools needed to complete an assignment or project.
