Integrating music and movement activities into the family child care curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Opportunities for physical, cognitive and social-emotional and cultural learning will be covered along with effective strategies for facilitating small group activities.

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Describe the benefits of music and movement for young children in all areas of development.
- Outcome 2: Plan a program of music and movement activities that are developmentally and cultural appropriate for the children in the family child care.
- Outcome 3: Demonstrate strategies for structuring and guiding music and movement experiences for young children.
- Outcome 4: Identify resources in the community that support and enhance the music and movement experiences for young children.
