Lecture and demonstration of the history, trends, and applications of sous vide cooking.

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Outcome 1: Properly and safely use knives, tools, and equipment, both classic and modern.
- Outcome 2: Discuss the history, trends, and advantages of sous vide cooking.
- Outcome 3: Demonstrate an understanding of the principles and techniques of sous vide cooking.
