A study of the practices and methods of municipal governmental accounting encompassing terminology, reporting requirements, recording methods and the uses of funds.

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

- Outcome 2: Describe the accounting principles employed by municipal governments.
- Outcome 3: Articulate the purposes and uses of the various funds employed by municipal governments.
- Outcome 4: Describe the organization and content of the comprehensive annual financial report issued by state and local governments.
