2. Guided Pathways Self-Assessment Workshops

The 2017-18 California State Budget has provided $150 million in one-time grants to seed the expansion of the Guided Pathways framework across the California Community Colleges over the next five years. These funds will complement and augment existing financial support provided by various statewide initiatives such as the Student Success and Support Programs (SSSP), Student Equity Planning, the Basic Skills Initiative, and the Strong Workforce Program.

Participating colleges will integrate recent state investments and redesign academic pathways in ways that promote better course-taking decisions, minimize achievement gaps, and increase the number of students who earn a certificate or degree.

To apply for these funds, our first step as a college is to complete a college-wide self-assessment of the implementation and scale of evidence-based practices proven to close achievement gaps and increase completion of educational goals.

The Career and Transfer Pathways Committee will hold 3 workshops to engage a broad group of faculty, staff, students, and administrators in this self-evaluation. We ask that you attend only 1 of the 3 workshops to allow for the maximum number of people in the CCSF community to participate.
