1.  Healing for Change - April 8

The CCSF community is invited to Healing for Change on Saturday, April 8, from 9:00pm - 4:00pm in MUB 140. The second in our series of events designed to help us De-stress by Healing from Historical and Individual Trauma is a free day-long workshop, including food, community, and the expertise of multiple healing practitioners from our community. It’s not too late to pre-register. Please help get the word to community members who will benefit.

2. Ovarian Psycos - April 11

Five members of the Ovarian Psycos Bicycle Brigade are coming from East L.A. to CCSF on Tuesday, April 11!  The workshop (Mission 109, 12:30pm – 2:00pm) and screening of the award-winning documentary and Q&A (Wellness 103, 4:00pm - 7:00pm) are culminating events of Women’s History Month and are central events of Rape Awareness Month. Join the community bike rides from Ocean to Mission (gather in front of Conlan Hall at 11:15am) and Mission to Ocean (gather at Bartlett and 22nd at 2:15pm)!

3. The Dream Scholarship - Apply by April 27

The Dream Scholarship was established by City College of San Francisco’s AB 540 Task Force to help AB 540 or DACA students reach their educational goals. The scholarship provides up to $300 in need-based scholarships to individuals enrolled in transfer or career technical education programs at CCSF. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the AB 540 Task Force and may be received at any time during the academic year. Please complete and submit the attached application by April 27, 2017.

4. ReDressing Injustice  - Monday through Thursday throughout April

Visit the third floor of Cloud Hall Monday - Thursday, from 10:00am to 3:00pm during Rape Awareness Month (April) to see the ReDressing Injustice Installation commemorating the hundreds of unsolved murders and rapes perpetrated against women living in Mexico, Guatemala, and Canada where indigenous women have been targeted.

5. Come See Library Exhibitions - ending soon!

Bring or send students to see the Rosenberg Library’s exhibitions, which are ending soon. Each exhibition has an assignment created by the library. Faculty and students can find that assignment right next to each exhibition. Looking for exciting new materials? Extra credit assignments? You can check them out here.
