1. Student UN Climate Conference Presentation [In French] - Thursday, April 7

Martha Hawthorne, French 3B student, will talk about her trip to Paris last December for the UN Climate Conference. She met union members and activists from all over the world who gathered in Paris to voice their urgent call for an agreement to stop global warming and save the planet. Martha will share photos and video clips documenting her experience. Please note that the presentation will be entirely in French.


2. Northern California Real Estate Educators’ Conference – Friday, April 22, 2016

The California Community College Real Estate Education Center will host a one-day conference on April 22 that focuses on ensuring quality and consistent real estate vocational education throughout the California Community College system. 

The highlights of the conference includes an address on the state of the California Real Estate Economy by the CARĀ® Economist, the California Bureau of Real Estate testing and educational outreach, mortgage / consumer protection, new instructor’s resource guides and texts, innovative classroom activities, enrollment trends, and more. All public and private real estate program instructors and their students are encouraged to attend.   

The Real Estate Center is funded by an endowment grant administered by the Federation for the California Community Colleges. Through this grant as administered by CCSF, the Center hosts three regional conferences each year in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Northern California.
