Ocean Campus, plaza between Science Hall and Cloud Hall

The CCSF Sustainability Committee is planning a fantastic Earth Day celebration on the Ocean campus. Staff, faculty, students and administrators are invited to join the fun!

“Don’t Be a Bigfoot: Reduce Your Ecological Footprint” will focus on raising awareness of the “ecological footprint” concept. Through games, poetry, a marine animal touch pool and other information, we'll all learn how to shrink our footprints.

Participating groups include Recology, the California Native Plant Society, the National Park Service, Bay.org, the EcoCenter at Heron’s Head Park, SF Department of the Environment, the California LGBT Tobacco Education Partnership, CCSF’s Poetry for the People Club, the CCSF Chemistry and Earth Sciences departments, and CCSF Sustainable Materials Management.
