4. Volunteers Wanted for Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee: The Board of Trustees of the San Francisco Community College District (SFCCD) is interested in identifying residents who would like to serve on the SFCCD Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). In 2001, the voters of our district approved a $195 million local bond, and then again, in 2005, the voters approved an additional bond of $243.3 million. Both bonds are known as "Proposition A." Under the statue that permits community college districts to seek passage of capital outlay bonds that are paid back with local property taxes, a Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) is required.

If you would like to be considered for appointment to this committee, please submit a one page letter of interest to the vice chancellor, highlighting your interest and expertise and which categories of membership you satisfy. Letters are due on Friday, September 11, 2015. If you need more information, please contact Dr. Mark J. Zacovic, Vice Chancellor of Finance & Administration for City College of San Francisco.
