1. Toy Drive:  Help put a smile on a little ones face this holiday season! The Family Resources Center is hosting a toy drive for children of CCSF student parents. If you would like to make a donation of a new, unwrapped toy, please drop it off at the Family Resource Center located at the Ocean campus in the Student Union, upper level, Room 201 any time between 9:00am and 3:00pm Monday-Friday before December 18th

Ages of the children range from 6 months to 4 years but we do have some older sibling as well (up to age 12 yrs) and any gift for the children, or the parents, is truly appreciated.

2. Construction Workshop: Please join City College of San Francisco’s Construction Management Program and PG&E for a one-hour workshop on what you need to know about 811 and the vital government service it provides. This event is perfect for people working in or preparing to enter the construction field, including commercial and residential contractors, and laborers. Refreshments will be provided.​ Submitted by Jorge Bell.

3. Put Tech Skills to Work:  If someone you know loves computers and technology or is considering a career as a systems administrator, let them know about CCSF's CompTIA A+ Help Desk certification. In five months they could unlock the door to a whole new field of job opportunities, and CCSF's government funded program can helpProgram includes:
