1. 32nd Annual Scott Joplin Birthday Ragtime Concert:
Featuring faculty and student performances of classic Ragtime repertoire as well as connected works and original compositions. When: Tuesday, November 25th, 11am-12pm, Arts Rm 133. Submitted by Esther Wong.

2. Project SURVIVE: City College of San Francisco’s nationally recognized peer education sexual violence prevention program, housed in the college’s Women’s Studies department, commemorates its 20th anniversary with an exhibition in the Madeleine Haas Russell Gallery on the second floor of the Rosenberg Library, October 10, 2014-April 24, 2015 (50 Phelan Avenue at Ocean). Submitted by Leslie Simon.

3. Ocean Campus Clean-up: Student Health Services and Student Activities have joined hands to initiate an Ocean Campus Clean-up this Sunday, November 16, 2-4pm. We have connected with all constituencies to invite all to participate, with the goal of getting us together to pick up outside trash and cigarette butts. It is also a time for us to get a bit of exercise and enjoy our environment together in the name of health. Many colleagues and students are excited to do this! Submitted by Becky Perelli.

4. Student Equity Report:
Thank you to those of you who have read and given feedback about the Student Equity Report. If you would still like to give feedback and make recommendations, the deadline for doing so is Friday, November 14th at 12:00pm. Here is the link to the report: http://bit.ly/1nmr3En. 5. Evelyn Mandac Performance:
Dear colleagues, Evelyn Mandac who gave a Master Class for us on November 12th, will be appearing Friday at the Philippine Consulate. Details are on the attached flier from Michael Gonzales in Philippine Studies. Hope you can attend this special event. Reservations required.  Submitted by Judy Hubbell.

6. World Languages Day:
World Languages Day returns to CCSF on Wednesday, November 19. Join us in the Smith Hall Cafeteria from 12- 1 p.m. There will be live music provided by the 29th Street Swingtet (Django style "gypsy" jazz and world rhythms- a few of them performed at MTT's wedding!), international food prepared by the students of the Culinary program, a raffle, and maybe some international treats. There will also be information about our spring 2015 course schedule. Join us! Bring your dancing shoes! (Sponsored by the Foreign Languages Department). Submitted by Carol Reitan.
