1. Remember Tomatoes Tonight! Pierre Coste Themed Dinner "Tomato Tales" is taking place TONIGHT, September 18, with seatings from 5:15 to 7:00 PM. The Fall 2014 Catering and Events Class welcomes you to their first themed dinner "Tomato Tales" in the Pierre Coste Dining Room. See the attached Tomato Menu_9-18.pdf for details.

3. CCSF Job Fair: Wednesday, October 1st, City College is hosting a Job Fair at the Mission Center. Held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, a HUGE number of companies are hiring and participating. This is FREE and open to everyone. Job seekers are encouraged to "dress to impress" and bring a resume and a smile! Note too, historically there have been more than 1,600 attendees. Free Spanish GED Testing: For 2 weeks (between Monday, September 22, 2014 and Friday, October 3, 2014) GED READY™ is offering their GED Practice Test IN SPANISH for FREE at the CCSF Mission Center, 1125 Valencia/22nd. CCSF Cooks for the Yerba Buena Alliance Gala: Held inCity View at Metreon on Thursday, October 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. CCSF will be well represented at this gala—you’ll see the Culinary Arts students delicacies and logo in the restaurant donors list. The Yerba Buena Alliance Gala is an annual community celebration of the Yerba Buena neighborhood at the City View at the Metreon, overlooking the Yerba Buena Gardens. The Gala is the Alliance annual fundraiser that raises critical funds needed to operate our programs throughout the year. Each year the Alliance honors an individual with the “Unsung Hero Award” and an institution or business with the “Organizational Champion Award. Experience a “Taste of Yerba Buena” as the top restaurants in the neighborhood bring culinary delights for all the guests.
