1. Pierre Coste Themed Dinner "Tomato Tales": Who knew you could do so much with a tomato?! This Thursday, September 18, with seatings from 5:15 to 7:00 PM, the Fall 2014 Catering and Events Class welcomes you to their first themed dinner "Tomato Tales" in the Pierre Coste Dining Room. 2. Health Fair and Flu Shots: Influenza vaccine is now available at Student Health Services for CCSF students and employees. We encourage all to take advantage of this accessible, inexpensive way to stay well during flu season. Learn more about the flu: http://www.cdc.gov/flu/Cost for Flu Vaccine:  $15  - Credit Students (FREE on October 1st at Health Fair), $20 -  Non-Credit Students and Employees. Please call for an appointment and pre-pay at Business Services, Ocean E104 prior to coming in. In addition, come to the CCSF Health Fair – October 1st, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at HC 100. 3. Two special music events: Come one, come all to the C.C.S.F. Alumni Recital, with Oliver Chan as pianist, Lulu Hung, Soprano, and Catherine Tse, Mezzo-Soprano. Performance will include Bach's – Toccata in G minor, Schubert's – Wanderer Fantasy, Liszt's – Ballade No. 2 and Reminiscences de Don Juan. This Friday, September 19, at 7:30 pm in Creative Arts Bldg. room A133. Admission is Free. Hope you can join us
The CCSF Labor Heritage/Rockin' Soliarity Chorus will be performing in the Occupy Convergence this Saturday, September 20, at 4:00 PM, at the Embarcadero Plaza. This is a free event. Submitted by Esther Wong.

Big Ideas Festival: Coming this December 7 - 10 to the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, the Big Ideas Fest brings together mavericks and change-makers from around the world to transform the future of education. A dynamic slate of speakers and action-based design thinking workshops will inform and renew your role as an education innovator. 5. Real Estate Scholarships: Do you know a student interested in pursuing a future in Real Estate?
