Bridge to Bioscience: Do you know a student -- or anyone for that matter, questioning what career to pursue? The information below, and in the attached Bridge to Bioscience flier.pdf, gives some background and lists orientation sessions all over San Francisco. Please "pass it along."

Why pursue a career in the Biosciences?
• Create safer medicines, research diseases, develop vaccines, make biofuel, transform stem cells, monitor the environment
• Make $35K-$40K after only 1-2 years of college
• Do work that benefits society at UCSF, Genentech…

Advantages to CCSF’s Bridge to Bioscience Program…
• Provides work experience with an INTERNSHIP
• Offers TUTORING in math, science and language
• Builds CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS with teachers and classmates
• Requires NO SCIENCE BACKGROUND or prerequisites
• Get PRIORITY ENROLLMENT next semester- get all your classes!

Internships available.  No science background needed.  Great for students going into health or biological sciences, but weak in math and academic skills. MORE INFO AT https://sites.google.com/site/ccsflabassistant/announcements/upcominginformationsessions
