3. Today's event: End of Semester Poetry Reading

 1. Real Estate Student Scholarship Recipients: It is no great surprise that CCSF students excel and our Real Estate students are no exception. Nine students in the Real Estate program received scholarships this academic year. See attachment Real Estate Student Scholarships.pdf to read the students' names and their scholarship awards.

2. Great Need for fun loving Carnaval Volunteers: Join the EOPS staff at this fun S.F. event! Carnival runs Saturday, May 24th 10:00 am to 6:00 pm-- with set up at 7:00 am. The event on Sunday is from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm--with set up at 8:00 or 9:00 am. There is a need for people to staff the CCSF information table in 2 hour volunteer shifts. This is a great opportunity to let the community know that CCSF is open and accredited, and ready to recruit prospective students as the event attracts over 500,000+ community members. "Carnaval San Francisco Festival takes place in the heart of the Mission along Harrison Street, Between 16th and 24th, with artist display spaces down the center of the street, back-to-back facing the sidewalks". Please see website for more information about the event: http://carnavalsanfrancisco.org/festival.html#map.  To sign up, contact:
Eliazer Ayala-Austin (EOPS):(415) 239-3440 Direct Line, (415) 239-3514 Fax eayala-austin@ccsf.edu
