French Student Success -- and Presentation: Paul Barrera, a student in Intermediate French, has been accepted in the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF). He will be sent to Martinique for the year 2014-2015 and will be teaching in various elementary schools. Paul will present the program to us next week, May 15th, from 11:10 to 11:30 in room A211 (Creative Arts Building).​
Today's events:
    A. Honors Voice Recital at 11:00 today in Arts 133.  The entire program with lyric translations is attached. See Honors Recital Program.pdf. Four languages today....so faculty may also want to bring a class interested in this historical trajectory of classical  song.
    B. Spring Flower and Plant Sale: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Horticulture Center, 300 block of Judson Ave. on the north side of the Phelan Ave./Ocean campus.
    C. Retiree's Reception: 4:00 - 7:00 PM in Pierre Coste Restaurant. $25/person for food, drinks and a raffle ticket. Say thank-you and fare well to 57 of our friends and colleagues.
