English Department Mother's Day Sale: Come on over to the Conference Room of the English Department to shop for some jewelry, accessories, and gifts for MOM!  
The china, silver, books, art, table top, journals, and more are on the shelves to the left as you
enter the room.  The very affordabel jewelry and accessories are near the windows. 

They have some vintage and "high end" jewelry on a small table there as well. The room is open most of the time, and I will have the clearance sale on Friday after 2 p.m.  All proceeds will go to the Forum Literary Magazine and the social fund.  I will be bringing in new articles during the week to keep the stock up to par. The Writing Process & How to Get Published: On Wednesday, May 14th, CCSF's Forum Literary Magazine presents "The Writing Process & How To Get Published." This will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Visual Arts room 115. There will be food, drink and a number of other fun activities. See attached flier writing panel flyer.pdf for more details


"Songs Through the Ages" recital: On Thursday, May 8th, five of the Intermediate and Advanced voice class students of Judy Hubbell will perform fourteen select pieces for your enjoyment. 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon in Arts 133. Remember the CCSF Faculty Association and Friends Retiree Reception: This Thursday, May 8th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Pierre Coste Restaurant. See attached flier FA End of Year Reception 2014.pdf for all the details and a list of retirees.


Undocumented and Educated: The second annual graduation celebration in honor of the dreamers of CCSF will be held in the Smith Hall Cafeteria this Friday, May 9th at 5:30 PM. See the attached flier AB540 Graduation 2014.pdf


Three CCSF selected to attend conference: Three CCSF students have been invited to attend the Investigative Reporter and Editors national conference in San Francisco this June 26 - 29. See attached flier Thanks to Pulitzer.pdf for the names and other details of this great honor and achievement.
