1. Reserve Book Room: If you are a faculty member with anything being circulated through the Reserve Book Room in the library, take a look at the attached Reserve Book Room Materials.pdf flier. It pertains to you, your belongings, and their future. IMPORTANT.


2. City Shots Film Festival: If you like films, then you want to know about the CCSF Cinema Department's "City Shots" student film festival: Exposing the negative. Projecting the positive. This takes place in the evening of May 15th in the Diego Rivera Theater. The attached CityShorts_poster.pdf has all the information you'll need to make this a night to remember!


3. Retiree Reception: The Faculty Association & Friends is hosting an End-of-Year reception where they will honor our retiring colleagues for their devoted service to the students and the mission of CCSF.  This year, there are a record high in the number of retirees.  Over 20 departments will be represented!  Please help us celebrate on May 8th at 4 pm at the Pierre Coste Restaurant. 4. Real Estate Student Scholarships:  As of this writing, 7 City College Real Estate Students have received scholarships from the California Community College Real Estate Endowment in excess of  $3,600.00 for Fall 2013 and Spring 2104 semesters.  Theses aspiring real estate professionals are listed on the attached flier CCSF Real Estate Student Scholarships.pdf which includes additional information about the program as well. 5. Floristry Students' Creativity at the DeYoung: Flowers are beautiful. Clothing made of flowers is beautiful. Students modeling their own clothing made of flowers at the DeYoung museum -- well, that's pretty spectacular! 6. Questions for Chancellor Tyler: Last month, Chancellor Art Tyler sat down to answer questions posed to him by the CCSF Academic Senate. Here is a link to that interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HxanXfg9E8 Is there a question you would like to ask Chancellor Tyler? 7. Family Day Promotion: This Saturday, April 26th is CCSF Family Day. From 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, this event gives parents of prospective CCSF students a chance to hear from the Chancellor, learn about student support services, see the campus and make informed decisions. Sponsored by the Student Development Division, it is being promoted in several publications and is expected to be a big event!

9. Asian Coalition Dinner: If you have not yet purchased your ticket to this prestigious fund raising event for student scholarships, take a look at the attached flier Asian Coalition Diner.214 Flyer for all the details.


10. This week's Events: Tomorrow, Thursday, April 14th: Opening Reception for 'Art of the Digital' Show: 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the City College Art Gallery, Visual Arts Building, Room V119. This weekend, Friday and Saturday, at 8:00 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM, "Good News!" the Musical, will be performed in the Diego Rivera Theater. General Admission $15.
