Unit Coordinator(Hospital)/Ward Clerk

What will I learn in this program?

Unit coordinators provide clerical support for nursing stations in institutional health care environments.  They may also be employed in neighborhood health clinics.  This one semester, non-credit evening class is offered at the Southeast Campus. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6-9.

This class prepares students to perform the varied clerical tasks centered around patient needs from admission to discharge in a hospital setting.  They may also be employed in the clinic setting.
