Administrative Support

What will I learn in this program?

The Administrative Support curriculum is a two-year program leading to an Associate of Science degree with a major in administrative support. It is designed for students working or planning to work in office-support positions in business, industry, and government. Typical job titles include administrative assistant, secretary, office assistant, office clerk, and office specialist.

Courses are offered at the Ocean Campus, with some courses offered online. Classes in these programs earn college credit, and there is a fee for tuition (financial aid is available). The CCSF job matching program and the CCSF Career Connection provide assistance finding jobs.

City College also offers tuition-free (“noncredit”) classes in this area. For more information about noncredit programs, please visit http://www.ccsf.edu/bus.
