BIOGRAPHY

B.S., R.D. Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics, University of California at Berkeley
Master of Arts in Education/Curriculum & Instruction, University of Phoenix

Lisa is a Registered Dietitian and has been teaching at CCSF part-time since 1995 for the Consumer Education Department.  In 2004 she became the Program Coordinator of the Nutrition Assistant Program, and in Fall 2007 became full-time faculty.  For Fall 2008 semester she is also serving as the Acting Chair of the department.  Other professional experience include University of California Cooperative Extension in San Francisco/San Mateo Counties (1999-2007) overseeing the nutrition education outreach programs for limited-resource families and youth, and previous experience as a nutrition consultant for various multicultural senior nutrition meal programs in San Francisco.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS!
The next cycle of the NA Program starts next Fall 2009!
We will be offering the next cycle of the Nutrition Assistant Program starting Fall 2009.  All applicants are required to take the pre-requisite 1-unit course HOEC 98 "Introduction to the Nutrition Assistant Program", offered only in the Fall semester.  Acceptance to the program occurs AFTER successful completion of HOEC 98.  A maximum of 30 qualified students will be accepted to the NA Program.  Application forms will be available from March 1, 2009 - check back.
