The DISABLED STUDENTS PROGRAMS & SERVICES department follows the CCSF assessment process as documented on the Outcomes Assessment Reporting website.
Our programs are on a regular cycle of review, during which outcomes are updated and revised. For our Instructional side, Course SLOs are mapped to Program SLOs. Program SLOs are mapped to ILOs. Mappings and program information are recorded in reports in CurricUNET. Programs are also fully described in the catalog. For our Services side, Program Outcomes are mapped to ILOs as shown below:
Students who are eligible for DSPS services will be able to access academic accommodations for which they are eligible in a timely manner. (ILO IV.1. Personal and Career Development: Identify and Develop Helpful Resources and Opportunities.)
Students who receive DSPS counseling services and who are concurrently enrolled in DSPS O/M - Diagnostic Learning and English 91 will achieve increased success in English 91. (ILO I.2. Critical Thinking and Information Competency: Locate, evaluate, synthesize, and appropriately use multiple forms of information.)
Learning Disability Assessment
Students who qualify for learning disability (LD)
services--following LD Assessment at CCSF will choose to access at
least one recommended accommodation within one month of notification.
