Assessment Process

Mission Statement:

The Office of Matriculation and Assessment Services strives to ensure that students achieve their educational objectives by collaboratively providing student-directed components of matriculation such as placement assessment, advising/counseling and prerequisites.

Program Outcomes

After accessing Matriculation Office services, students will be able to:

  • Locate the services, such as orientation, placement, and counseling that they need to get started pursuing an education at CCSF
  • Place into the appropriate level of English, ESL, or Math to maximize their success
  • Enroll in credit courses and programs of study

These programs areas are on a regular cycle of review, during which outcomes are updated and revised. For assessment details and timelines see links for progress reports in right side column.
