The Office of Matriculation and Assessment Services strives to ensure that students achieve their educational objectives by collaboratively providing student-directed components of matriculation such as placement assessment, advising/counseling and prerequisites.
1. As a result of completing the new student orientation, students will understand the next steps toward registering for courses that meet their educational goals, programs and services available and their rights and responsibilities as students.
2. Students will understand the importance of Math and English or ESL course placement assessment.
These programs areas are on a regular cycle of review, during which
outcomes are updated and revised. For assessment details and timelines
see links for progress reports in right side column.
