HiSET registration process:

1.     Start the registration process by going online to www.hiset.ets.org

2.     Write down your ETS Student I.D. Number

3.     Make a payment by visiting http://www.bkstr.com/ccsfstore/home/en

4.     In the Search Box, enter Hi-SET and press ENTER

5.     Pick your product and pay with a major credit or debit card

If you are paying cash for the test, you may visit the CCSF bookstores (listed below). Examiners CAN NOT accept cash payments.

6.     Call us at (415) 561-1824 to set up an appointment.

7.     During the registration hours, bring your proof of payment (paper receipt) and valid photo ID to your appointment. Arrive 15-20 minutes early.

At the John Adams Center (1860 Hayes Street, Room #45, San Francisco, CA 94117) we offer Hi-SET testing on the following days:

Tuesday        9-11 am & 1-3 pm

Friday            9-11 am

GED Sign Up

Students register online for the GED test on a computer, using the MyGED™ Portal at https://ged.com/

Students are required to sign up for a MyGED™ account at https://ged.com/ and then they are able to access the dashboard full of information about studying, test day, scheduling, scoring, and college and career opportunities. When students are eligible to schedule, they can log in 24/7 at https://ged.com/ click "Start Scheduling" on the dashboard, complete the demographic questions, schedule one or multiple tests at a time, and pay for their appointment.
