Assessment Process

Mission Statement:

The Office of Admissions and Records/Registration is dedicated to providing services to prospective, new, current and former students in the areas of admissions, registration, graduation, transcripts and record maintenance by creating a positive environment that values diversity, multiculturalism and mutual respect. We are committed to assisting faculty and the college community to provide services and support in meeting the needs of our students to ensure a smooth transition in achieving their educational goals.    

Program Outcomes

These programs areas are on a regular cycle of review, during which outcomes are updated and revised. For assessment details and timelines see links for progress reports in right side column.

Service Outcomes

1.  Students will be able to use current technology to efficiently, accurately and successfully apply for admission online.

2. Students will be able to conveniently and easily order, pay and receive their academic transcripts in an accurate, expedited and efficient manner through an online ordering service.

3. In an ongoing partnership with San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), CCSF will collaborate with SFUSD to provide graduating seniors early registration.  Students who receive early registration will increase their access to courses and hence completion and retention rates.
