Business Computer Technology
The School of Business offers a variety of non-credit,tuition-free computer applications courses aimed at developing computerskills for the job market. The objective is to equip students for themany positions requiring computer operating knowledge and proficiency.Application training is emphasized.
Studentscan learn keyboarding, business english and communications, wordprocessing, presentations/business graphics, database, spreadsheets,web page construction, accounting, desktop publishing, networking, andjob preparation. Certificate Programs are also offered in four areas:Word Processing, Microcomputer Business Applications, Accounting, andOffice Technology. The programs usually cover two years, are paced tothe student's time and ability, and produce a certificate that gainentry to upper level credit course or other programs.
